Pros

you will get good colleagues and learn how to deal with different types of people.

Cons

Wipro Technologies mainly caters to clients worldwide in the financial services and energy sectors. Many of these clients have older systems and they look for affordable solutions from India because of the large population and competitive rates. Wipro hires a large number of fresh college graduates to handle and support these older applications, although there are only a few projects that make use of the latest technologies. As soon as you join the program, the first two years are more of a break, and the beginning review does not even count. Just report to the office and relax. That means that your career will be wasted for the first 2 years (you might sit on the bench or free pool for 6 months), hence no learning of any kind until months later if you get tagged to a good project by luck which happens only once in every hundred employees. Do not hesitate to move a development site and urge your manager." not all get a chance to travel onsite. If you are very good at coding or technology or you have a very good domain knowledge or you create a great dependency on yourself for the project, if you work a lot for Wipro with a very low salary, if your relationship with your manager is good and cunning enough to fool others. That is again around 2% of total joiners. But for at least 3 years you need to stay on site and your lifestyle should not be very expensive to get good savings

Pros

Good coworkers and project opportunities. It is up to you to pursue these opportunities.

Cons

HR and immigration folks need to be transparent. Immigration team submitted my visa petition for premium processing, but my visa didn't get approved on time. When I asked immigration for an explanation, they just cited "delays" and were vague in their responses. I asked for documentation on when the premium processing was sent and they did not respond nor provide anything. My 240-day extension for my visa ended, so I was not working for some time. I was a few days away from getting approved. HR then terminates me out of nowhere, saying that I am not authorized to work. Even my manager did not know that I was being terminated. I spoke with immigration who said that I had already been taken off payroll and I would be reinstated once the visa was approved. Even the immigration team said that the termination should not have happened. HR just pulled the trigger and it has impacted me greatly.
