Pros
1. Job security. It does seem like if you don't cause any HR violations, you can do slightly below the bare minimum with no consequences. 2. Flexibility. Currently, it is 3 days wfo and 2 days wfh. Additionally, you can apply for mobile working, subject to approval.
Cons
1. Team lead. Team lead is inexperienced and someone that I feel has to respect and listen, just because that's the role he is given. I don't feel supported, I don't feel well guided, overall, I don't believe I can be developed well under the guidance of the team lead. That worried me. I see that many things have been missed out by the lead,d and it's quite often that people from other teams are chasing the lead for a response as well. 2. Development. I did feel that the role is very niche, and it may be difficult to find a new role out in the market. There are many people who are in their third and fourth year, along with the limited senior role, it is difficult to get promoted. If you want to join Wise, I would suggest other roles instead.
