Pros

New and fancy office buildings to feed your eyes (not your tummies tho) With paid sabbatical after 4 years (if you can make it till the end) And 3 months (if you can get an approval from your lead) of mobilewiser - aka work from abroad policy

Cons

• Micromanagement is rampant, trust in employees is virtually nonexistent. • High turnover rates mean teams are constantly understaffed and overwhelmed. • Inexperienced leads and senior leads make ego-driven decisions rather than business-driven ones, which harms both morale and outcomes. • Salaries are far below market rates — I later discovered I could have earned nearly twice as much in a similar role at another tech company with similar perks. • Mental health is a checkbox on paper only in reality, support is absent. • Bullying from management is common, creating a toxic and unsafe work atmosphere making opportunities almost impossible to get.

Pros

Good PTO, and friendly Wisers.

Cons

Management is totally micromanagement, and the People team does not advocate for employees; they appear present only in name. If I were in Kristo’s position, I would conduct a thorough top-to-bottom review of the entire HR department of U.S., and replace all of them. If over 70% of the Austin team would never recommend this workplace, it is a significant warning sign that needs to be addressed.
