HR dept contains among the most duplicitous of people I’ve ever met in my entire life. Corporate executive culture appears to be totally deceitful yet very proud of it despite terrible local reputation. Very poor communicators and blame everyone else but themselves. Everyone here contends that they are miserable at work and it shows. Employees feel stuck with constant turnover. Most have given up or are holding on for something better. If you do decide to take a chance on this company, you MUST protect yourself and document events even when things are going well because they seem to adamantly believe that they do NOT have to play by the same rules as any other Illinois employer. Shockingly unbridled arrogance by HR, which basically will just point you to your desk. You will also be working 50+ hours a week while HR leaves early, which naturally sows resentment between departments. Everyone there knows it’s just a matter of time and they are all going to milk the owner for all he is worth. Engage at your own risk, especially if you are over the age of 35, have a family with children, or value peace of mind.
