Long hours and not very flexible - must be available 24/7 Difficult to get vacation approved Not much room for advancement and limited career path discussions Difficult to move to other departments as all requests to apply to other positions require manager approval and they are often denied Not very female friendly, all upper management is male and it's a "good ole boy" atmosphere Management thoughts and ideas cannot be challenged
