Pros
I really value all of my colleagues within the R&D organization. They are supportive, flexible, and passionate. Everyone cares about their projects and we work well to support each other. There is a good amount of autonomy to do the work we think is valuable in a way that works for us.
Cons
As the scope of projects gets bigger it can be challenging to get the resources we need when we need them. Usually everyone is good about moving things up the chain if it is "important" but sometimes things move slowly and that can hurt our learning cycles. This may change as the company evolves and the different fabs are restructured.
