Pros

Free food Good benefits and pay

Cons

Treat workers like robots. 12 point firing system. So basically every employee has 12 points. If you are late by one minute you lose 2 points. If you have an emergency and have to call out that's automatically 4 points even if you have paid time off. If you are sick and have to call out that is 4 points automatically. To get the points off your record you have to email all managers 4 hours before, text them, and write a paragraph on why you need to call out. Then they will send it to HR so they can determine if they believe your reason justifies a call out. If they don't think it does then the 4 points remain on your record. 12 points is an automatic termination no matter what. Managers told us they are constantly hiring because they don't believe we all will last with this new system in place. Any cell phone usage is a write up or possible termination but you aren't allowed to talk with coworkers either even if we're not busy for hours. When there is an issue managers just say "well what do you want me to do about it?" Not all managers are properly trained or know how to deal with stressful situations. Hours are constantly cut at random. Could go from 38 hours a week to 25 without notice. Never hire enough staff for busy times. Often have employees that need to work 3-4 different stations because the company gives limited hours to distribute. Favoritism. Managers have different rules for employees they like versus everyone else. If you need help managers tell you to"suck it up and figure it out". Managers are constantly putting down their employees in front of other employees. Sexual harassment runs rampant within the company and remains unchecked even by HR. You aren't always paid the correct amount. Payroll constantly makes mistakes so you have to double check to make sure they actually paid you the correct amount.

Pros

- Very well thought-out performance and promotion cycle: Wonder may be a start-up, but they clearly invest a lot of time and effort into growing their employees, ensuring adequate actionable feedback, and allowing for growth during your time with the company. - Transparency: During my time at Wonder, I did not think much about this, but having moved on to a new company, I start to appreciate the level of transparency Wonder had. Despite its size and volume, the company made it an effort to keep employees updated every other week on key business updates across various verticals. - Flexibility: Hybrid in-office model at the time when I left earlier in 2026, they allowed 2 days wfh and 3 in-person days on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. - Employee benefits: The company had a strong employee relations team and culture that's constantly bringing fun and exciting events to work.

Cons

- Core of the company's leadership came from the same ex-company, which inevitably brings over legacy culture, and this can somewhat make employees from those companies feel somewhat left out.
