Pros
Great job for physically fit individuals. Good Work-Life balance. No micromanaging. Good pay. Insurance options are good. Hotel and meal reimbursement as well as tools necessary for the job supplied and paid for. Quarterly bonuses!
Cons
Travel is expected usually at the last minute. I have woken up in the morning to a text saying I was working 2+ hour away more often than I was comfortable with which making planning or appointments difficult. The job is physically demanding and in my opinion the amount of work required is sometimes too much for someone even if they are in good shape. The company app is outdated and frequently crashes. If you work for Woodgrain, make sure you keep up with which Home Depot stores you work at because mistakes happen with pay and you want to make sure you have all the information to ensure correct pay. The schedule is never the same which can be frustrating. Absolutely no room for growth as a FSR unless you want to be an area manager. Area managers are extremely busy and they never seem to be home with their families. There is opportunity to make a lot of money but the likelihood of burnout or mental insanity is high.
