Pros

The only pro is the medical benefit cost and coverage. Unless you are a union member. You will make much more money than management. And, you really don't even have to work. You are not graded on your performance. Also, you can take up to 3 years leave of absence and the company will pay your salary.

Cons

Company is unable to move forward, largely due to the stranglehold by the union. They are not at all cooperative and they purposefully slow down work, which is a violation of the contract. HR will not let management enforce the agreement. The union workers are basically guaranteed a job for life and they don't even need to show up for work. There is no incentive because there is no accountability.

Pros

Great with previous leadership. But then...

Cons

New leadership is not as dedicated to employees as previous (although bonuses have been better). New middle management there is a lot of nepotism. Once a stable company, layoffs have been a common occurrence since COVID.
