Pros

Comprehensive Academic Search: Google Scholar provides access to a wide range of scholarly literature including articles, theses, books, conference papers, and patents. Free Access: It offers free access to a substantial amount of scholarly material, making academic resources more widely available. Citation Tracking: Google Scholar enables users to track citations of their work and see how many times an article has been cited by others, aiding in research impact assessment. Varied Search Results: It offers varied search results from diverse sources and disciplines, allowing users to find information from multiple perspectives. User-Friendly Interface: Google Scholar has a simple interface that is easy to use, allowing researchers to quickly find relevant academic resources.

Cons

Limited Access to Some Journals: Google Scholar might not have access to all journals due to restrictions or paywalls, limiting access to full-text versions of certain articles. Quality Control Varies: Since Google Scholar indexes a wide range of sources, the quality of the content can vary significantly, including non-peer-reviewed material or sources of questionable credibility. Incomplete Citations: It might provide incomplete or inaccurate citation information, making it challenging to verify the reliability of the sources. Lack of Advanced Search Features: Compared to specialized academic databases, Google Scholar may have limited advanced search features, making it difficult to perform complex or specific searches. Inability to Filter Content: It might be challenging to filter or sort search results effectively, leading to a potentially overwhelming amount of information to sift through.

Pros

Great with previous leadership. But then...

Cons

New leadership is not as dedicated to employees as previous (although bonuses have been better). New middle management there is a lot of nepotism. Once a stable company, layoffs have been a common occurrence since COVID.
