      Pros

      It was a really good experience working at WPI. It was a challenging, fast paced environment and enjoyed working there. The professor with whom I worked was an open minded person, he was ready to accept the wildest of the ideas. Working along with 10 other students added up to the steep learning curve.

      Cons

      A dollar or two higher than the minimum hourly wage. That is bad!

      Pros

      Can be pretty easy if most of your work is office hours. I had about seven hours a week and most of the time there weren't many students.

      Cons

      Grading was a lot harder than I expected. Pretty demoralizing honestly; a lot of clearly ChatGPT submissions (ECE programming class mostly with freshmen who'd never seen code before, so not surprising). Grading paper exams was fine.
