Pros

Nice people, good snacks, market leader

Cons

Unfortunately this is the only place to share feedback without being a target for retaliation. The reason for the 1 star is because I don't appreciate being told by my employer to "like" and "share" postings on social media about controversial issues at the national level. Today all employees were told to show support against the U.S. Executive Order on immigration. It's seems Workday should not be telling its employees what it should and shouldn't support in the US federal government. They are making false assumptions that all employees agree with their view point. It's very narrow minded of them to think this way as that is not the case with how all of their employees feel on this subject.

Workday Response

At Workday, we are proud of our values, which promote inclusion and belonging. We stand behind our belief that the executive order on immigration may be harmful to our employees and our business, but we also believe in the rights of each of our employees to hold their own beliefs. We would not ask someone to support or promote a position with which they do not agree. If our communication about Workday’s statement on the executive order led you to believe we want you to express the same views, we apologize. That was not our intent. Our values encourage all forms of diversity—including political beliefs—and we will continue doing our best to demonstrate that in our words and actions.

Pros

-Great Healthcare benefits -Great people -Great work/life balance

Cons

-It takes entirely too long to get promoted and there's no real solidified pathway for it. They have a checklist of things you need to be proficient in and you do them, but really you're doing next level work/responsibility at the same pay you've been at for a long time. It's almost like you're being dangled a carrot but the goal post is moving back each time. -Internal processes are slow and organizational changes happen so frequently much its hard to keep up with while the reasoning doesn't always make sense -You'll be moved into a different role, team or manager without any prior discussion
