Pros

1. Career Growth: There were clear career paths, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. 2. High Compensation: The roles generally offer competitive salaries, bonuses, and stock options, especially in successful or fast-growing companies. 3. Flexible Work Environment: work from anywhere for 30 days and hybrid work schedule available 4. Collaborative Culture: Open, collaborative work environments with cross-functional teams and a focus on innovation.

Cons

1. High Pressure and Fast Pace: Tech companies often operate in fast-moving markets, leading to tight deadlines, high workloads, and the need to quickly adapt to changes. 2. Job Volatility: The tech industry can be unstable, with frequent reorganizations, layoffs, and rapid shifts in market focus, especially in smaller or newer companies. 3. Competitive Environment: The tech industry can be highly competitive, both in terms of job performance and career advancement, which can create a stressful environment. 4. Monotony in Specialized Roles: In some tech roles, you may be deeply focused on a very specific part of the product, which can feel monotonous or disconnected from the bigger picture.

Pros

-Great Healthcare benefits -Great people -Great work/life balance

Cons

-It takes entirely too long to get promoted and there's no real solidified pathway for it. They have a checklist of things you need to be proficient in and you do them, but really you're doing next level work/responsibility at the same pay you've been at for a long time. It's almost like you're being dangled a carrot but the goal post is moving back each time. -Internal processes are slow and organizational changes happen so frequently much its hard to keep up with while the reasoning doesn't always make sense -You'll be moved into a different role, team or manager without any prior discussion
