If you want to grow, don't expect any help. They refuse to invest in people because they're focused on the short-term $$. When layoffs come a-callin' every couple years, you'd better be ready for your world to be turned upside down. There is no career path - you get by just based on luck and your willingness to do anything it takes to takes to keep your job. People who dedicate themselves for years will be cast aside if one contract goes south. They like to give the impression of a hip, considerate employer, but they are so stuck in their ways that it's almost laughable. My salary was a joke -- 60% less than the going rate for someone in my role.
