Pros

There’s 3 huge reasons that I think Workstream is the best place in Silicon Valley to start a career in sales. 1.) Leadership- for how small and you my Workstream is, they’ve really invested in leadership that has built companies before. From product, marketing, sales and customer success, rev ops and more. It’s very impressive. 2.) Product market fit- Workstream has not only disrupted a market but has changed the way our customer view their business. Customers are raving fans of our brand and are cheering us on. 3.) It’s still day 1. Even though we are doing very well, there still lots of opportunities for new reps to make an impact on the company while we’re still in the “early days”. Tags: Unlimited PTO, partial health insurance for you and dependents, kitchen, WFH friendly & office preferred, catered meals Team mates are so close that many will spend time outside work grabbing drinks, going on hikes, play basketball, movie nights, etc.

Cons

Here’s some things that some people care about that could be cons. 1.) Benefits (swag, full benefits, 401k, etc.)- these things are always improving but if you’re looking for a flashy, swaggy tech company to join this is not it. 2.) Operations- because we’re young there are still things that we are figuring out. The office has grown a lot this year and it’s caused internal problems that can frustrating but they’re really just apart of growing pains.

Pros

- Generally high level of ownership and autonomy - Pay is fair for the right role/location - Culture of honest and open feedback - Startup/small company facilitates exposure to/learning about many business functions + sometimes senior leadership team/founders

Cons

- Benefits are weak (generally expected for a startup) - Lack of mature internal processes - Lack of development/coaching for early career talent (but the right self-starter personality can definitely still thrive)
