Pros

Recent changes in senior leadership appear to be positive for the US office. There are efforts to be gender & racially inclusive/diverse and they strive to do good programming. Depending on the team, there is a genuine push for a work/life balance.

Cons

Departments are not consistent in developing career paths for their staff. Many leave out of frustration of being stuck in their positions. Although they are trying to be gender sensitive, senior leadership and management in general have a long way to go. Salary grades are a major issue. The same salary grade is assigned to positions regardless if it is based in the Federal Way, WA office (HQ) or Washington, DC, despite living cost being significantly higher in DC.
