Pros

Culture - the executives live it and work hard to instill the culture and values to every employee. The vision and mission statements are not just posters on a wall. They are what makes the company what it is. Open organization - at most companies I have worked at you never see executive management, much less meet and talk to them. The executive team is very open and is willing to talk with any employee. Benefits - the benefits are excellent. Besides the insurance (which they continue to not raise the price on), the onsite health clinic, the wellness checkup days, and the Days of Caring are just a few of the great things this company does. Community - this company is active in the community and works hard to be a good corporate citizen. Whether it is sponsoring various youth teams, the local professional teams, or just volunteering for community service projects, this company is active in helping the local communities grow. Challenging work - I feel like I am challenged every day. Whether it is learning something new, solving a difficult problem, or working on a new project. With the aggressive growth of the company, there is always something interesting to work on. Opportunity - I feel like you can go as far as you want with WWT but you have to make your own path. That is not a bad thing. If you want a step-by-step career path, go work for some huge, monolithic company. WWT has plenty of opportunity, but you need to be willing to step up and ask for it rather than waiting for someone to hand it to you.

Cons

Growing pains associated with the massive amount of business increase. Middle management growth - organization isn't as flat as it used to be. Sometimes tough to know how the reporting structure has changed. Also some of the newer managers lack strong personalities to lead groups of people. Managers manage, leaders lead. WWT culture is diminishing in some areas - due to the high number of new hires in the organization, it is tough to instill the WWT way of doing things in everyone. I think sometimes we throw bodies at a problem instead of trying to work out smarter solutions.

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
