401K NOT FULLY VESTED FOR 5 YEARS - Enterprise Account Executive World Wide Technology Employee Review

Pros

Large organization with deep bench of technical expertise.

Cons

1.) WWT claims to offer excellent benefits, but the 401K plan has a significant drawback: it takes 5 years for the benefits to be fully vested. This means that if an employee leaves the company before completing 5 years of service, they risk losing a substantial amount of money, especially if they have maximized their 401K contributions. 2.) The company's management structure is top-heavy, with numerous high-salary Sales Directors and VPs. This has led to redundancy and inefficiency, as many of these executives seem to be out of touch with the realities of selling enterprise tech, having been removed from direct sales roles for too long.

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
