Pros

- people are friendly - hours are good not too early or too late shifts - they provide you with training - can earn commission

Cons

While the pros seem great the cons to me aren’t worth it. You see what they fail to tell you up front and you have to read the small print in your contract is you are on a “probationary period” for two years which means at any point in these two years they can let you go or terminate your contract without any good reason and can use the excuse “we have decided to end your probation period” it’s so they can lay off staff whenever they want. The Job itself is fine it’s greeting potential customer’s showing them round and booking in appointments to get sales. But the issue is the job as a sales advisor is only at weeks ends you can work in the week but have to request overtime. And they over staff the sales advisors. The store isn’t ever busy really it’s a lot of standing around and waiting so really you only need between 2-3 sales advisors in at any one time but they hire and have in 6-7 which is at least double what is needed. They do this to have you essentially fight for customers if you are a nice person and considerate this isn’t for you but if you are cut throat and aren’t afraid to walk over your colleagues to get sales you’ll do well here, they only hire you to fire you if your not the top performer and that’s usually the person who isn’t afraid to be pushy and tread on peoples toes. In the end it’s usually only two people left and they are usually the people who have been there the longest as they have the most experience.

Hi there, thank you so much for leaving us this review! It's great to hear that you found real positives from working for the UK's No.1 Retail business to work for. In regards to the probationary period, this isn't 2 years and this isn't in any of our employees contracts as our company probationary period is a shorter length of time, the 2 years you are referring to is a part of employment law from the government. Our dedicated sales professionals work across a number of shifts, with our Sales Consultants having a number of different patterns of work to accomodate, and our Information Advisors work on a Saturday and Sunday in the showroom which is included in our job adverts and discussed at interview stage with all candidates. We wish you all the best with your future career!

Pros

I’ve been with Wren Kitchens for about a year now, and my experience has been nothing but positive. The company continues to grow and expand, which creates great opportunities to learn new things and develop professionally. The environment is very collaborative and supportive. There’s a great balance of autonomy in your role while still having the support of teammates and management when needed. My manager has been especially great at providing coaching, guidance, and encouragement that has helped me continue to grow in my role. The benefits are also very competitive, and I really appreciate that there are multiple options available so you can choose the plans that best suit your lifestyle and needs. The PTO offering is competitive as well, which makes it easier to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Overall, it’s been a rewarding experience working for a company that values development, teamwork, and continued growth.

Cons

None that I can think of!

Pros

Strong opportunity to learn and retain role-specific knowledge. Hands on experience with Salesforce (CRM). Encouraged to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently without over reliance on support. Coworkers are consistently helpful and collaborative within departments. Team culture is supportive and driven to help each other succeed. Customer service processes within the call center are generally well structured. Company provides the necessary tools and supplies to do the job.

Cons

Role requires constant attention to detail, which can be mentally taxing. In some cases, answers for client inquiries require escalation, delaying resolution. Cross department communication and processes outside of the call center can be unclear or inconsistent. Certain policies add extra steps that slow down issue resolution for customers. Pay is acceptable but could be more competitive for the level of responsibility. Fixed schedule (9:00–5:30) offers limited flexibility.
