Pros

If you're fortunate enough to be thrown sales leads your way like some "top" designers, you can earn a very good monthly pay (£4k +) Some nice people in store to work with.

Cons

Head office management are stuck in their ways Some store managers are far from professional. Swearing and and belittling employees. Not very flexible Favouritism towards some staff which sees them being given more profitable sales leads rather than shared more fairly with the team High school feeling being at work. Feeling like you get in trouble for everything. When you've cleaned a display kitchen for example, it's inspected like you're a child. Some store managers are bad but then so much is restricted from head office too. It's a totally dictorial type of company to work for. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Lots of negatives with a large amount of my colleagues currently looking for a way out of the company, including me! The reason Wren scores high on employee satisfaction is because within your training week (as a designer anyway), as part of one of your modules, there is a review that you have to leave. Being new to the company you can't really give a negative review at that point...hence the high score! Employees are dropped often and often seem without great justification. Can easily go over your weekly hours without much thanks or offer to give you your time back. If you're a moment late in though, you definitely know about it! Director level management have suggested to store managers that they need to hire more of a certain race and sex of employee, stating that a store has too many of a certain ethnic group in store. This does not seem acceptable instruction to come from top management, talk about discrimination Some management just have a lack of respect and professionalism towards employees. If you don't have a thick skin, don't apply to be a designer, the money won't be worth it. The basic pay is rubbish and usually takes a good 6-9 months to earn regular decent income. When you have holidays, that'll reduce your pay too.

Pros

I’ve been with Wren Kitchens for about a year now, and my experience has been nothing but positive. The company continues to grow and expand, which creates great opportunities to learn new things and develop professionally. The environment is very collaborative and supportive. There’s a great balance of autonomy in your role while still having the support of teammates and management when needed. My manager has been especially great at providing coaching, guidance, and encouragement that has helped me continue to grow in my role. The benefits are also very competitive, and I really appreciate that there are multiple options available so you can choose the plans that best suit your lifestyle and needs. The PTO offering is competitive as well, which makes it easier to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Overall, it’s been a rewarding experience working for a company that values development, teamwork, and continued growth.

Cons

None that I can think of!
