Pros

Insurance, 401k options, travel discounts

Cons

Terrible company to work for. Senior leadership demands all employees to essentially be on call because they change the schedule on a whim with not even 24 hour notice. Won’t get staffed enough to plan for busy times but then is overstaffed by the end of “peak” to where major cuts need to be made. Make goals that are unreachable. Provide empty promises of jobs coming and site growth with no proof of it. Senior leadership will “support” your growth as long as you are bending over backwards for them but when you start setting healthy boundaries they find every reason to push you out. Always playing favorites to give out promotions or not. Growth is not by merit it’s by how much you are liked. No department has trust in other departments. When someone in leadership speaks disrespectfully to people or even physically grabs them they only receive a slap on the wrist while whoever brought the problem to attention is told to not be sensitive. Quarterly or annual awards are given out instead of bonuses or raises for “good work”. Travel discounts are good but can rarely use them due to vacation policy. Managers hide in offices instead of helping the team they are on.

Pros

Coworkers were amazing, we had a lot of fun and genuinely enjoyed talking with people. It was great to help visitors have an amazing vacation in a town I love.

Cons

Marketers from larger locations would come in to help "boost" our sign-ups by encouraging we lie directly to the owner/guest. Each had their own trick and "new thing" that wasn't really new, if not completely fake. My team valued honesty, and did not want to stoop below our morals. Also, once we were all meeting goals for owner/non-owner sign ups, they bumped up the percentages needed to stay employed. Which resulted in half the team getting fired, and the other half quit since it wasn't going to be the same.
