Pros
I’ve been a professional in the IT and Product space for approximately 20 years. I started working for FieldEdge approximately 6 months ago. I am extremely impressed by the talented staff at FieldEdge. The staff is full of skilled professionals who are extremely productive, friendly, and passionate about their work. The FieldEdge product is phenomenal. The design, feature set and functionality is robust and very well thought out. As with any SAS product, there are opportunities for more enhancements and improvements to the product. The staff and management team clearly have a constant focus on getting input from customers/end-users and continuously making product improvements. The first-rate agile product and development teams allow for product changes to happen at a fast pace and on a frequent cadence. There’s a great sense of camaraderie within the staff. Everyone seems well connected, well informed and working on the same page as a team. The culture is great. Team building events and social activities happen often. These events are organized both from management and staff members. Some events are spontaneous and some are planned. The management team is honest and listens to employees. While it’s unrealistic for all employee requests to be acted upon, the management team seems to take all requests seriously and regularly solicits feedback from employees. Changes to evolve and improve culture, processes, etc...are often implemented based upon feedback from employees. The future looks bright! FieldEdge is a growing Company with aggressive goals that are often met or exceeded. While the Company grows, the culture and vibe still feels like a “start up”.
Cons
It’s a fast paced environment with a lot of growth. While for many, this type of atmosphere is considered a pro, I do recognize that for some, this may be considered a con.
