Pros

Company is constantly growing, you can make something of it if you can stand the cons.

Cons

You should sort by lowest ratings, there are a lot of really good examples of what I am about to say. This place isn’t a tech job, they don’t pay market rate nor do they train you how to actually work in a software company. It’s the good ole boys club with a desire to promote people who look the part. Lots of questionable relationships with managers and employees that everyone can see, but no one acknowledges. The leadership in the organization is focused on how they can look the best to everyone who doesn’t work there, but really care nothing for the people who are there today. In fact, you will probably see a flurry of positive reviews after this is posted, that’s because they care more about their glassdoor rating than employee retention. Be weary of what you see. Go to LinkedIn and see all the people who have left and how long they were there, not many people make it past a year or so because it’s not a place that you can grow and develop in.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. The situations you noted are concerning and we would like the opportunity to investigate further. Based on a review posted earlier this month, we had conducted investigations within our teams. Unfortunately, we were unable to substantiate the comments but want to get to the bottom of the issues referenced to ensure they are addressed. To do this we need more information. If you are comfortable, please reach out to me directly at bware@fieldedge.com to discuss further. If you are a current employee and uncomfortable coming to me directly, please remember you can submit your concerns to our anonymous suggestions box. A link to the suggestion box is available on our intranet homepage. I want to reiterate that we do not condone these types of behaviors and aim to provide a safe and trusting environment for all of our team members. Again, we are truly sorry you have had this experience and will do everything we can to address these concerns. In regards to the turnover, our current turnover rate within the Field Services vertical of Xplor is well below industry averages with strong tenure across the division. While we would love to say we have zero turnover, we do understand our rapid growth environment is not for everyone. We have experienced higher than average turnover in our Sales Development function which your comment may be referencing. We are currently working with department leadership to implement changes to address this issue as a top priority.

Explor Ever since Explor was purchased by a PE firm, every aspect of the company to the most granular detail has effectively gone up in flames. For anyone who needs context, PE firms are parasites that steal exorbitant amounts of money from the companies they buy out - and then they have 26 year old matcha drinking ‘financial associates’ in some high rise in NYC make pivotal business decisions that negatively affect hundreds of employees’ lives all because they learned in an MBA class that making the ‘costs’ line in the Excel spreadsheet go down would make the ‘profit’ line go up. The first ‘strategic’ business decision made was to cut down on software developers (to make the ‘profit’ line go up in Excel), which has resulted in a WORSE product - then they hiked the price on customers (Again, to make the ‘profit’ line go up in Excel) which as anyone would have expected, enraged ALL our customers. The resultant employees who didn’t abruptly leave are now tormented daily with more and more ignoramus ‘strategic’ business decisions and treated like ants that a child is playfully burning alive with a magnifying glass. If you want to be treated with any human dignity whatsoever, Explor will not be a good fit for you. However, if you want every day at work to feel like you are a participant in the Stanford Prison Experiment while simultaneously having to take calls at all hours from every customer who wont stop asking “Why does the software I pay money for to run my business no longer work”, Explor will be the perfect future employer for you to take that big next step in your career.
