Pros
YRC will talk up the benefits they offer, for salaried management they will offer what seems like a very strong salary, until you find out what your job really entails. They're really aren't any Pros to this company that I have found so far.
Cons
work environment, corporate structure. Too many idiots in the corporate office in Kansas City assume that sitting in front of a computer screen gives them a better perspective of what is really happening than actually talking to employees. They do not value employees at all. they have sent letters to employees homes stating things like, you should feel lucky to even have a job, and they once told every employee, in a letter, that they were insignificant to the company. As others have noted they have taken 15% pay away from employees for the last 3 years, while managing to pay the their executives multi-million dollar bonuses. They are also notorious for lying about what a job entails. YRC is also far and away the most unprofessional organization I have ever come across. I can honestly say that coming to YRC was the worst decision I have ever mad in my life.
