Pros

Nearly every person I worked with at Yardi was wonderful. Everyone is willing to lend a hand, and it truly is a great place to work. I had so much independence and flexibility (though that may depend on who your manager is). The benefits are great (healthcare and dental are $0 for a single person, slightly more for families). Overall, a nice place to work with colleagues and higher ups who genuinely care.

Cons

Average pay, raises/promotions can take a while. Still, the pay is completely fine. Just not necessarily competitive.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We are so glad to hear that you had such a positive experience at our Santa Barbara location. We care deeply about our employees and are glad to hear that you enjoyed our culture, the supportive leadership, your friendly and kind colleagues, and our comprehensive benefits. We strive to remain an employer of choice with competitive pay practices and a strong benefit package but understand that costs continue to rise and appreciate the challenges. We wish you all the best in your future!

Pros

Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.

At Yardi, we take pride in our transparent, kind, and respectful culture. Taking care of our employees is of the utmost importance and we work diligently to provide comprehensive training for one's role, a flexible hybrid work model (in which employees are asked to be onsite 1 day per week), and robust compensation and benefits packages. As part of our annual planning, we carefully review the goals for all of our teams and achievable goals are set based on an analysis of market conditions, while maintaining a competitive compensation plan. We genuinely encourage anyone who feels negatively impacted by something to schedule time with the VP of Human Resources to further discuss. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you were not a happier employe and wish you well going forward.
