Pros

Great CEO, free health insurance, profit sharing, PTO, sick leave

Cons

I am on the Affordable team. Awards are given out monthly to members that hit specific metrics. These metrics aren’t remotely attainable. Those who do meet the metrics are working long hours and lots of overtime. They deserve the recognition… but so do those that put in normal 8 hour work days. It feels like I am working my butt off but it’s not being seen by management. This company is very bottom heavy. Management and team leads are spread thin and not providing the support and guidance that team members deserve.

Thank you for taking the time to share about your experiences as a Technical Account Manager in our Atlanta location. We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying many of the things we believe make Yardi so special, such as our encouraging and supportive leadership, our comprehensive benefits, and the overall kind and inclusive culture Yardi fosters! As part of our annual planning, we carefully review the sales goals for all our teams; and clear and achievable goals are set based on an analysis of market conditions. At Yardi, our managers and leaders dedicate time to mentoring and coaching employees, providing quality training and subject matter expertise to their teams, and leading by example through strong work ethic. While we know the importance of metrics, we feel strongly about recognizing employees who show kindness and inclusiveness, and those who go above and beyond to help others. There are a variety of recognitions that takes place across the Affordable team that go beyond metrics, such as individual awards for those who have received a kudo or have finished a special project, weekly peer-to-peer awards, and monthly RCAH all-star awards (that are also peer to peer). We encourage employees to regularly connect with their managers and to let leadership know when additional support or guidance is needed with prioritizing and navigating deliverables, and the door to Human Resources is always open to discuss concerns or suggestions for improvements.

Pros

Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.

At Yardi, we take pride in our transparent, kind, and respectful culture. Taking care of our employees is of the utmost importance and we work diligently to provide comprehensive training for one's role, a flexible hybrid work model (in which employees are asked to be onsite 1 day per week), and robust compensation and benefits packages. As part of our annual planning, we carefully review the goals for all of our teams and achievable goals are set based on an analysis of market conditions, while maintaining a competitive compensation plan. We genuinely encourage anyone who feels negatively impacted by something to schedule time with the VP of Human Resources to further discuss. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you were not a happier employe and wish you well going forward.
