Pros

My team was very supportive and helpful whenever I asked for it. Everyone on the team got along well. They have in person training once a month which allows for collaboration and connection with other teams. They often have free food trucks which is nice.

Cons

Training is 3 months long and a LOT of information going over stuff that really doesn't pertain to your job. So, once training is complete you're thrown into the case management system which was covered in about 20 minutes of the training and forced to figure it out. All of your time is monitored, and you almost always have to ask for help from team mates in order to come up with a solution. This means there is a lot of down time waiting for people to be available, and nothing to do to fill the void but watch training videos. Promotions seem to come few and far between. There were people that had worked on my team for 3 years and were just being promoted from Technical Account Manager to Senior Technical Account Manager. Which, if you think about it, makes sense because I worked there for a year and had no idea what I was doing.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed our collaborative culture, your supportive and helpful colleagues, and our onsite perks. Though your other experiences are quite different from what we hear from other employees, we take concerns seriously and value your feedback. Our Yardi trainers strive to set employees up for success by providing fundamentals and quality training material for each employee as they onboard. Logged time includes training, peer support, as well as personal time. When it comes to growth and career path options, we know that providing opportunities for training, learning, and advancement are critical for employee happiness and success! We strongly encourage employees to meet regularly with their managers to discuss their goals and find ways to be best supported, and HR has an open-door policy to provide additional support. We genuinely encourage anyone who has questions or concerns to reach out to their manager or our VP of Human Resources to discuss further. Wishing you the best in your future endeavors!

Pros

Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.
