Thank you for sharing about your role as a Consultant in our Santa Barbar locations! We are so glad to hear that you enjoy our robust insurance offerings and our generous benefits. At Yardi, we know the importance of supporting and growing our employees and provide quality training as well as opportunities for advancement as employees increase their subject matter knowledge. Our promotions (which are based on merit and performance) happen consistently through the company. Employees have annual reviews with their managers to discuss their goals and performance as well as opportunities for advancement based on contribution, and we often see salary increases as our employees continue to grow in their roles with Yardi. We take pride in our caring culture and transparency and genuinely encourage anyone who feels negatively impacted by something to schedule time with the VP of Human Resources to further discuss.

Pros

Some team members are genuinely supportive and easy to collaborate with, though the overall experience can vary depending on the person.

Cons

Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.
