Glad to hear you like the people you work with and the environment. As it pertains to staffing and pay rates… we certainly try to stay market competitive to ensure we can recruit staff in to our facilities. We’ve recently done rate reviews/market analysis in several of our larger statewide systems, and are in the process of implementing increases in several cases.
Without knowing what site/contract you are working, I can’t say for certain if this will impact your facility. Our long term goal is to lower turnover, and we realize, there is more to job satisfaction than just pay.
That said, if people are leaving because our rates are off, we’d most certainly want to review that. If you haven’t already done so, please elevate your concerns to site management.
