Pros

Salary is reasonable for the ARNP position, paid time off accrues at a reasonable rate and the expected work hours are good

Cons

Minimal support for the staff, little response for upper management in regards to issues with staff, limited approval for nonformulary medications, tests and consults to improve patient health.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your input on working at Corizon Health. We are glad to hear you feel that we offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Our management team is provided with various trainings: One piece of which is “coaching”. Since problems are most easily resolved at the lowest level, upper management attempts to first allow site management to address employee concerns. As needed, upper management will intervene as necessary based on the circumstances. If employee matters or concerns are not resolved to their satisfaction at the site level, our employee handbook outlines steps that can be taken to appeal up the chain of command. We encourage staff to engage in the problem solving process should issues surface during their employment with Corizon Health. Sincerely, Heather Dale, Employee Relations Specialist

Pros

Have had a diverse amount of technologies over the years to work with and the job pace itself is not super face paced so in most cases, can take time to resolve issues without feeling too rushed. This allows for more research time on complex issues and learning about new technologies as we implemented them.

Cons

There hasn't been any upward movement available in a long time, no chances for advancement anymore. The company financials have steeply declined since the last ownership change. Bills aren't getting paid on time so we are stuck chasing down getting a bill paid to get Internet connections back up for example. Communication is also very much non-existent as to the state of the company, so have to rely on what is in the news to find out any real answers. Company recently filed for bankruptcy. We haven't been paid it over 25 days but we are expected to still show up and perform our normal duties.
