Pros
Tremendous name brand recognition. Amazing internal technology. Very few companies can claim to touch as many lives as Google / YouTube does.
Cons
The YouTube / Google culture of semi-annual perf/promo is excruciatingly painful. The whole company seems to be reverting to "big company" status, caring more about numbers than about people. Watch out for your own work/life balance; help yourself before you extend yourself too much to help others; and don't take it personally.
