UX team has a culture problem. A new CDO came onboard recently however haven't seen any substantial change. Managers retaliate people who speak up, and have no accountability for their actions, taking pride in the the work of ICs and blaming failures to the ones below them. Kinda of shocking recently multiple managers with HR investigations not only were not held accountable for their actions but also got promoted. ICs are not recognized enough for their work, and as result they are burning out, there is no sense of prioritization, managers keep talking about wellbeing but actions don't mirror what they say. And talent is leaving/already left, many people are on leave to deal with burnout.
