Pros
Availability of OT. Outside of production, it is an at will choice. Benefits HR rep is extremely kind, helpful, and present. They listen and do want to find the best way to balance life and work when life has large stressors. Peers are supportive and occasionally go out of their way to help.
Cons
The use of Oracle and Camstar requires a lot of paperwork. Also, very hassling to correct mistakes. 2nd shift has very limited resources and assistance in comparison to 1st shift despite having a sizable team. Limited ability to ask questions, learn, and attain a deeper working knowledge. Lack of effective communication overall. ECO and SOP changes without proper notice and clarity.
