Pros

Employees were granted an enormous amount of freedom in structuring their days as long as the lab results were in by the specified time. Want to go on a run for lunch? That's fine as long as you're on schedule with your sample prep and loading. Want to take an extended afternoon break? Fine if your on schedule. Want to leave early? Finish your testing early. This really made for an awesome and adaptable work environment. The employees in the lab were mostly good and fun to work with.

Cons

Shortly after I started working there, the lab manager moved to a different company. There was then a period of serious instability in the lab. The saliva lab smells awful, but there isn't much that can be done about the smell. On heavy test load days, the lab employees can get totally swamped with sample prep and loading. I had lots of experience doing research and turned over a lot of good research projects, but a lot of my time was allocated to running production assays.

Pros

Excellent benefits, Management with checks and balances, and inclusive company culture.

Cons

I need more time to fully assess ZRT and determine whether there are any significant cons. Six-month review to follow.

Pros

They have great medical benefits. The work itself is really chill if you have no problem working with samples and repetitive work.

Cons

There is no upward mobility. it is hard to get a straight answer on anything. Policies change on a whim and never communicated, this causes lots of confusion an inconsistency.
