- Lots of responsibility right away - they trust you to lead client engagements - Feedback culture - people are comfortable giving and receiving both positive and constructive feedback - Fair compensation and promotion criteria - was always happy with salary/bonus and knew when/why I was getting promoted (or not) - Treats employees well - flexible hours to take care of personal needs - Smart and collaborative co-workers
Cons
- Cyclical work - lots of ups and downs - especially managing multiple client projects at once with conflicting deliverable deadlines - Limited types of projects - mostly focused on healthcare and sales/marketing functions outside of healthcare - Less travel than Mon-Thurs consulting firms but heavy travel possible on project-by-project basis
