Pros
Pay is higher than most consulting firms outside of MBB. Interesting projects within pharma space Little travel required as most offices are located near client base.
Cons
Leadership lacks transparency and it borders on dishonesty. Negative interactions with Principals Poor Hiring Decisions lead to large workforce reductions in some offices. Cognitive dissonance is unbelievably high here. Opportunities outside of the firm are low as ZS does not do a good job at training it’s employees to be effective outside the firm. Health insurance is bad and convoluted to get reimbursement if you run into any complicated claims. Culture is incredibly cliquey. If you are in you and in and if you aren’t then you are left out in the cold at all times.
