Pros

Have to juggle a lot of responsibilities so you learn a lot about the job and can take that to your next job. You'll be a procurement pro. Okay salary for first job

Cons

Feel overworked. Other teams take a dump on procurement team because procurement team is responsible for some aspect of what should be every other team's jobs, so when something goes wrong it's procurement's fault.

Pros

Great management while working autonomously, never had any issues as the culture was very rewarding without being overwhelming.

Cons

If you can't work well autonomously and be able to figure out what you need to do then probably not the best fit for the role.

Cons

Contract work Mid to upper managment dont care about work life balance at all. As in dont blink an eye at 20+hr days for weeks on end.
