Pros

Great Sales and Engineering employees... Work from home.. That's it

Cons

Management and upper management. If you are not liked no matter what you have done for the company, they will let you go. There is a clash of Ego's with some of the management and salespeople. Their idea of managing their team is to belittle people in a team setting or meeting. It's incredible to watch and hear.. If you fill out their anonymous survey that is forced upon you, they will take that into consideration to let you go. If you go to HR and voice your concern, they will take that into consideration to let you go. Monthly reviews that reflect how you put notes into your CRM. If your manager doesn't like the notes, you receive a bad review which is also grounds for termination. If you contest it, you are targeted. 3 great sales people were let go because the VP of sales didn't like them only to give their accounts to one of their favorites and let them reap the rewards. They hire VP levels from other companies that have non competes and still meet with their old customer base when they shouldn't even be working in the capacity that they are.. No regard for ethics even though you have to take an Ethics class and pass the test. The negative talking about management between sales reps and engineers is incredible. Most are there because the job market is so bad and cannot afford to leave. No morale at all. DEI is in place and makes day to day tasks suffer. Not many qualified people, most DEI hires to check a box. It's a beat-up session every day with no gratitude for achievements. It's a horrible place to be. Life outside of Zayo in your homelife, is affected by your weekly day to day environment and Zayo culture.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
