Pros

Great people, exciting growth! Great to feel a part of something that is dynamic and growing. There is no waste at Zayo. Everyone has a fully quantifiable reason for working there, and management is very well in touch with this, and knows exactly what and how much any given person does for the company. I leave every day feeling like I've made a difference.

Cons

It's difficult to truly take a vacation or get away, and completely disconnect from your job to decompress. There is not enough redundancy in all roles throughout the company to always ensure a relaxed, uninterrupted holiday.

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you feel like you are making a difference. I believe employees know when they are, and when they aren't -- especially is a well functioning company. When the majority feel this way, a company is on a path to be exceptional. I agree we need to turn the corner on better balancing work/life. Your example -- the ability to take a vaca/get away and disconnect -- is a good one.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
