Pros

There were really good people here. We built a company, worked hard and thought we were doing the right things. We had a successful IPO and were recognized by the market for being a company that focused on financials and built value for investors.

Cons

Vacuous re-branding messaging makes it sound like you are trying to put lipstick on a pig. That's insulting to Zayo employees because Zayo is not a pig. Employees put their lives on hold to build an extremely profitable company - now PCB thinks new business cards will increase profits by X% according to Harvard Business Review Study. That is so alarmingly naive that I am terrified of the implications for your future. People are leaving because of lack of raises, not being able to backfill and a commission plan that no one understands. Now HR is asking that instead of sharing opinions in Glassdoor that employees submit anonymously to a Chatter group. I've heard that HR has tried and been unsuccessful at investigating Glassdoor posts. Do you think employees are so stupid that they believe that you will keep their posts anonymous?

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
