Pros

+Great office locations +Talented colleagues +If you live near HQ there are lots of social events

Cons

-No base pay increases-little room for internal promotion, even with a ‘promotion’ and new responsibilities pay often remains the same (lateral moves even with title changes). -Educational opportunities mean that you get the privilege to have your workload, the workload and responsibility of the position above you and the workload of your other teammate who just quit with NONE of the financial reward. -If there is one message that is loud and clear from upper management it is that you are not valued and are easily replaceable. -Business cards are a luxury for a select few, you most likely will be denied. -To reiterate: the reality for most is stagnant salaries- Zayo culture is to do more work and wait for a reward that never comes. (They have no intention of retaining the talent they have, only to burn through people as fast as they can). This is short sighted and unfortunate. -Managers are just the folks who have stuck around long enough; some have absolutely no interest in managing a team or helping you with your personal career growth. I understand this varies by team, but with the constant movement between teams you are sure to run into some terrible ones. It would not be uncommon to have 2 or 3 managers over the course of a year -Desks are another privilege, I had a coworker that was refused a desk, meaning they could not set up their phone/additional monitors and they never knew where they could and could not be-this went on for months. -Onboarding- my job was sink or swim, don't expect much direction or guidance.

Pros

Excellent sales enablement, tools, and internal support. Leadership has done a good job creating an environment where Enterprise Account Executives can focus on selling instead of getting bogged down by administrative tasks. CRM data is clean, processes are organized, and responsibilities between Sales, Customer Success, and Account Management are clearly defined. It’s refreshing to work for a company that invests in the systems and structure needed to help its sales teams succeed.

Cons

Ongoing integration efforts following the Crown Castle Fiber acquisition mean some processes and systems are still evolving. As with most enterprise sales roles, building pipeline requires significant self-sourcing and prospecting across a large territory. The product portfolio is extensive, which creates a bit of a learning curve for new hires but also provides opportunities to solve complex customer challenges.
