Pros
You get the opportunity to work remotely.
Cons
Morale is in the dumpster and my manager consistently was trying to stir up excitement around the holiday season - this was insanely tone deaf considering there were just layoffs (before I started) and people were being warned to be ready to work extra hard with a skeleton crew. Don't come to this company, especially the branded content team, and expect to have a life outside of work: I was told that "if you need work/life balance this probably isn't the place for you" by my manager. Even when you're on PTO they expect you to check in and be active, like what's the point of being off? There was no onboarding process and the day to day 'processes' were filled with ambiguity. If you're a creative just know your work isn't going to be appreciated, you're not going to be able to walk out of this role with any portfolio pieces. The manager doesn't know how to manage a creative on the team and will just pull things out of thin air. You'll also be low-balled on salary and expected to do a 4 part assignment for the interview for free. Save yourself the time unless you really need it, but I'd suggest doing freelance instead.
