Pros
Prior to commissions I worked in SET finance (now BEST) and thoroughly enjoyed others within finance. The pace and type of tasks assigned were appropriate for the job and a healthy work life balance was encouraged and expected.
Cons
My department (commissions) switched hands 4 times within 6 months. There was total chaos approximately 90% of the time with employees left dazed and confused. Managers and supervisors were rude and degrading. I often felt shamed for asking clarifying questions. I frequently received projects at 6-8pm and was expected to have them completed by morning. Coworkers were difficult to work with and frequently gossiped about one another. Several of us were let go due to "change in company policy" with no heads up or preparations.
