1) There is often talk about Best and Preferred Place to Work as a strategic pillar but it is quite clear that all initiatives are for optics only and do nothing to increase employee satisfaction and engagement, 2) people and leadership focused initiatives apply to everybody BUT senior management (e.g., 360s are not applicable to senior management), 3) senior management take on authoritarian styles and it is laughable that we promote "Empower Every Voice", 4) we pay millions of dollars to companies to help us push for change within the organizations and forget that we spend so much money to bring new talents on-board to do the very same job, and 5) there is no sincere interest in people development as there is no investment in this area besides a global leadership training for regional and functional leaders in 2019 - shocking to say the least when they want to beat the competition but not willing to invest in their own people.
