Cons
Terrible management Incompetent employees are promoted to positions beyond their ability. The business actively discourages employees from moving up. All of management is part of "The Good Ol' Boys Club" Pay is well below industry averages. Talent acquisition ignores well-qualified candidates in favor of "cheaper" candidates. For example, I have 20 years of med device QMS experience (15 of those years with Zimmer Biomet before being let go during downsizing), two Master's degrees in medical device fields, and a CQE, but I was rejected from consideration (without even a phone screen) for a Sr. Quality Engineer position with the company in favor of "other candidates who more closely match our needs for this position." Apparently they had candidates with more than 20 years experience and two graduate degrees. (I guarantee none of the candidates were even close to my qualifications).
