Pros
The only thing that made the time at Ziosk bearable was having co-workers that could relate to the pain of working there. There was a brief time where it seemed things were going to turn around with a training program lead by the project management team, but the leadership team’s inability to change caused that team to quickly dwindle to none-existence.
Cons
Other than a two or three actually great managers, teams are run by people who have no experience being managers or think being a manager means pushing your responsibilities to your direct reports. The leadership team is very petty and behave like children when things don’t go their way. The CEO has gotten in trouble several times for making promises of pay raises to employees he couldn’t follow through on. Most employees don’t feel confident going to HR since they don’t do anything to resolve issues. Recruit through promises of bonuses for new hires to then be shocked to find out no bonuses have been given out in years.
