Pros

There was at the start before they changed up the sales team now there is none

Cons

One this isn't a protected position. The old way the sales team was worked way better. Now if you aren't doing what they feel is the bare minimum they put you in more meetings making it even harder to knock. 2. Don't get injured your management won't work with you unless your favorite. 3. Don't expect management to help you figure out how to close sales in a harder area. 4. Teams don't work together and allow for back stabbing. 5. Never ever tell your management or Hr anything going wrong they won't offer help but will actually make your life worse. 6. No work life balance unless your a sales team favorite the rest are treated horribly

Pros

Union negotiated healthcare. Union negotiated pension plan (if you were lucky enough to be part of before it was gotten rid of). Hands off approach from supervisors if you get your work done. Fiber product is great.

Cons

Clueless management as to human decency. If you are a union employee the company looks at you as over paid and a scourge. They basically said so in negotiations. But these are the guys and gals who actually know what the heck they are doing to keep the systems up and running. No investment in the decaying infrastructure in regards to buildings and grounds. Outwardly the company LOOKs like it is doing the right thing but back end is sorely lacking.
