Pros

We don't have to physically come in because it's remote.

Cons

This is the WORST Sales Leadership possible. They allow people to steal your customers that are actually assigned to you in YOUR NAME. You're NEVER set up for success because they force you to only call outdated leads because they bought them but the leads are garbage. They don't want you to make calls & emails, what they really want is you to get in your car & go door to door. They control who you call because there are no territories. Anyone who's been in Sales a while knows that you have to separate territories to prevent overlap. They're so unorganized that half your accounts are duplicates of another Salesperson's leads. Your Manager will just gag or silence you when you point out allowing the issues that keep you from selling. They're constantly firing people who have outstanding resumes, and just completely destroying their lives & their career record. Your Manager will not provide any coaching at all. They literally lied to NUMEROUS Sales professionals to get them in the door! Absolutely zero promotion opportunities. They're also not diverse in any way, just glance at the racial demographics of their employees & managers. Almost no people of color or women.

Pros

Union negotiated healthcare. Union negotiated pension plan (if you were lucky enough to be part of before it was gotten rid of). Hands off approach from supervisors if you get your work done. Fiber product is great.

Cons

Clueless management as to human decency. If you are a union employee the company looks at you as over paid and a scourge. They basically said so in negotiations. But these are the guys and gals who actually know what the heck they are doing to keep the systems up and running. No investment in the decaying infrastructure in regards to buildings and grounds. Outwardly the company LOOKs like it is doing the right thing but back end is sorely lacking.
