Pros

We have some amazing clients that are great to work with. You have an opportunity to work with some great brands. Everyone contributes in a big way and all of us have an opportunity to communicate directly with clients. The management team cares about people and gives a lot of flexibility in workspace and time.

Cons

I wish we would spend some time with our own brand. We are so busy solving client problems, creating experiences, and building client sites, that we fall in the trap of not telling/showing the world about our work.

Pros

Work/Life Balance: I have worked at quite a few agencies around the Philadelphia area for 10 years. During this time I've heard employers brag about work/life balance only to find out that I was expected to work after hours and pretty much be on call 24/7. Zivtech, on the other hand, is true to their word. I have been able to juggle my work and personal life with ease and I couldn't be happier with this aspect of Zivtech. Culture: I'm a bit of an acquired taste and have my share of quirks and oddities. Throughout the years I have found myself having to hide these traits at various gigs, but Zivtech allows me to be me. I know that sounds corny and stale, but it really is a welcome relief to be my true self. Team Members: Everyone at Zivtech is smart, passionate about the work they do, and willing to help a PM learn a bit while managing projects. No one has ever made me feel dumb for asking a particular question.

Cons

Process: At times there are various processes which could be in flux or different between departments. This isn't uncommon in agency life, and its certainly something that I can work around, if needed. Resourcing: This seems to be an issue with every agency. However, I feel that Zivtech puts too much of the problem-solving on the PMs. Don't get me wrong; PMs should always have a hand in resource management as it is a part of our job and we should have insight into who is doing what, but this was a bit more resource management than I was used to doing.
