Pros
Job security, everyone is leaving so Zones can't afford to fire anyone. I work with numerous people that call in sick every other week and make mistakes daily that cost us business but nothing ever happens. The bar is so low at Zones you can do anything and you won't lose your job.
Cons
EVERYTHING. Seriously, everything is bad, I don't know what is the worse. The Owner/CEO of Zones is by far the biggest disgrace of a leader I've ever seen in 20 years in the IT Industry. Myself and many of my peers in upper management have been working all year without compensation plans which means we're not getting the bonuses promised to us and this guy has the audacity to stand in front of us and tell us we should feel proud that the profits we're generating enable him to offer scholarships to The London School of Economics. I can't even afford to pay my daughters tuition because of this company but our fearless leader is so detached from reality that he thinks we take pride in his philanthropy that comes at the cost of us paying our bills. He is fleecing our most important vendor partners by parading our sales team through daily "lunch and learns" so he can pocket that money which is supposed to be earmarked for sales enablement. We have layer upon layer of unneeded management who are solely concerned with reporting up to the owner, it is rare you find anyone in this organization that is focused on driving business or customer engagement. This company will not be around in two years, it can't be. The Owner/CEO wants to be a "solution" company while at the same time he is outsourcing all of our technical jobs to Pakistan. There should be a class at the London School of Economics to study Zones and how the effects of poor leadership can decimate a company and hundreds of people's jobs in a short amount of time.
